10 best beaches in Mallorca you need to visit

Mallorca is a real paradise when it comes to idyllic beaches with crystal clear waters. The biggest Balearic island has one of the best beaches in Europe - from white, sandy, long beaches to rocky coves located among the mountains. I traveled to Mallorca seven times so far, and in this blog post I put together the list of 10 best beaches that you need to visit in Mallorca. These are my favorites picks, I hope you enjoy this blog post!

Check out my other post about Mallorca - The Ultimate Travel Guide - 10 day itinerary.

Es Trenc (Ses Covetes)

This long and sandy beach is one of the most spectacular one the island and my favorite one. The beach is located on the southern coast of Mallorca. I love it’s vibe (it’s very wild), surrended by the dunes. You need to come early in the morning to find a parking spot in Ses Covetes. The waters are crystal clears and shallow, which is perfect for the families and kids.

Cala Llombards

If you’re looking for picturesque beach with fisherman’s houses and crystal clear waters, Calla Llombards is the most perfect spot! It’s absolutely beautiful, come early in the morning to avoid crowds.

Calo des Moro

Calo des Moro is an incredibly beautiful beach situated deep inside the bay and surrounded by the rock formations. The acces is a bit diffucult, since you need to get through the steep incline. It has the most incredible shades of blue & clear waters. This beach is pretty hidden, you need to leave your car about 1 km down the road and walk for about 20 minutes.

Cala s’Almunia

This cove is located next to Calo des Moro, you can visit those two beaches together. It has very nice fisherman houses and some cliffs, perfect for jumping. The beach is pretty rocky, but you can still enjoy the turquoise waters and the views!

Park Natural de Mondrago

Park Natural de Mondrago covers over 700 hectars of natural spaces. It’s absolutely wild and beautiful. You can find there many beaches and coves. It’s easily accisible by car, there is a street parking. You can also get there by boat which is more spectacular. The color of the water is incredible and all the surroundings!

Cala Figuera

If you love adventures and hiking, visiting Cala Figuera is a good idea. This rocky beach is located in Formentor. It’s one of the wildest and most beautiful beaches in Mallorca. The views are insane! It took me 20-30 minutes to get there, you need to leave your car on the small parking lot on the street. Add this beach to your itinerary when going to Formentor.

Cala Romantica

Cala Romantica is a wide and sandy beach located on the east side of Mallorca. It has crystal clear waters and it’s surrounded by white cliffs. I love coming there for swimming and relaxing, the views are absolutely magical! There is a small parking lot nearby, but you can also leave your car on the street.

Playa del Muro

Located in Alcudia, Playa del Muro is a long (almost 6 km) and sandy beach, perfect for watching sunrises. It’s perfect for kids and families, the waters are very shallow and clear. It’s my favorite beach located in the North of Mallorca.

Cala Pi

Cala Pi is located on the south coast of Mallorca. There is a famous platform, from where you can admire the views over the bay. There are stairs which leads down the beach, it’s usally pretty busy so I recommend coming early in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend it for swimming, but the views from the platform are insane.

Cala Agulla

This long and beautiful beach is located near Cala Ratjada, on the northeast coast of Mallorca. You will find there sandy beach, dunes, pine forests and flat rocks. This is a perfect spot for swimming and sunbathing. The landscape is beatiful! I was impressed by the color of the water.
